Introducing our Founder & Executive Director, Ms. Penny Pinkham
After firsthand witnessing the struggles of three of her children battling with PTSD & TBI, Penny Pinkham decided to take action by providing the support that Veterans, First Responders, & their loved ones were searching for. As a Mom-Battle Buddy, she could perceive the invisible wounds of our Warriors, but knew that support, the right resources & LOVE could make a world of difference.
In 2009, Penny's vision & mission was born with Healing Tools for Warriors. Since then, her passion has been to help struggling Warriors receive support and care from where it matters most: Their local communities, businesses & organizations.
By connecting these Warriors in need to the resources they have struggled to find, HTFW makes it their mission to help those who have put it all on the line to turn PTSD into PTG (Post-Traumatic Growth).
When a Warrior, who wished to remain anonymous, was asked, "What does it mean to a Warrior to know that the community supports them?" After a pensive pause the Warrior simply replied
"Everything".

At Healing Tools for Warriors, we strive to be a 'One-Stop Shop' that can assist in resolving all of Warriors unique challenges. Through our own local resources, as well as our large network that offer a large variety of their own capabilities, we feel confidently that we can get all Veterans & First Responders in need connected with the assistance they seek.

One of the most commonly sought-after attributes to feeling acceptance and reintegration into society for our Warriors is the loving embrace of their local communities. Through various awareness events, sponsorships, donations, career fairs, etc., Team HTFW serves as a liaison for the development & growth of the relationship between the community & our Warriors.

From a political perspective, several Veteran & First Responders we speak with feel as if they are not heard among their State & Federal level elected officials. Team HTFW strives to ensure their voices are heard through means of Legislative Round Tables & various other meetings where officials are available in a more private setting to hear the Warriors' concerns.
